How to go to Subic Olongapo, Zoobic Safari, and Ocean Adventure from Manila

You might be asking this same question if your going to subic, Olongapo for the first time. My family went to Subic, Olongapo to visit Zoobic Safari and Ocean Adventure.  We were like you during that time, we were afraid because we never know the culture of the people there. We also think that we might get lost since we’re not familiar with the place. I could describe the people in Subic as helpful, accommodating and I think the place was safe to stay. Before anything else you may check this link for Discounted tickets to Zoobic Safari or Tour Packages. These were copies given to me by one of their Zoobic Safari sales agent in Makati.

Actually going to Olongapo is not that difficult, much better if you have your own transportation but if you prefer to ride bus from Manila you can head to Victory Liner Terminal of your choice. If you are Near Pasay then it would be better to go to Victory Liner Terminal in EDSA. In Caloocan there is also victory liner near grand central mall. In our case since we are near in Tayuman we take the Espana or Sampaloc terminal. From Sampaloc the whole trip was approximately 4 hours including traffic.

Fare and Trip Schedule

From Caloocan to Olongapo City

  • 4:30AM to 9:00PM (every 30 minutes)       P196.00-aircon (one-way only)

From Pasay to Olongapo

  • 4:00AM to 7:00PM (every hour)                 P211.00-aircon (one-way only)

From Sampaloc to Olongapo

  • 5:00AM to 7:00PM (every hour)                 P201.00-aircon (one-way only)

All Victory liner bus do stopover at Sta. Cruz Lubao Pampanga the bus would arrive approximately 3 hours after leaving the terminal. While having the stop over you have 15 minutes to do anything, stores are available, comfort rooms, fast foods. By the way the cheeseburger there does not taste good.

After an hour you’ll arrived at Victory Liner Terminal in Olongapo. From the terminal available transportation are tricycle, Taxi, and passenger jeep. Public transportations there is color coded so you won’t get lost just ask the driver about the address of the place you’re looking for. For the taxi you might wonder but it was not the typical taxi look of manila. You can determine legal taxi from colorum if it has body number similar to the picture below. Also don’t be shocked because taxi fares were expensive in Olongapo.

Olongapo Color coded Jeep

Legitimate taxi in Olongapo has that kind of body number

So there you go, be safe during your travel. If you had any plan going to Zoobic Safari or Ocean Adventure you have to ride taxi because there is no public transportation that can pass through SMBA area. 4. Hello. Thanks for this helpful blog. We’re planning to go to Subic din kasi and we don’t have a car. I would just like to have an idea how much would be the taxi fare from Victory terminal to Zoobic and Zoobic to Aotriz Apt. And, kinontrata niyo nalang ba yung driver? How much did it cost you?

    • Hi Ann, nung nag tour kami it cost us 3K for the whole day trip kinontrata na po kasi namin yung taxi. Nung time namin hatid sundo talaga kami from aotriz apt to zoobic to ocean adventure then go back to aotriz then to Victory Liner terminal.

      • sir, if ocean adventure lang kaya? how much kaya abutin nung taxi? parang di ko kasi kaya maglabas ng 3k for taxi alone e. hehe

  5. Ah. So binalikan din kayo nung taxi the day after your tour in zoobic?

    • Opo usually binibigay nila calling card nila so you can refer them to your friends at para madali po silang macontact.

  7. sir matt, how about from VICTORY LINER TERMINAL(SUBIC) to TREETOP ADVENTURE,magkano po ba?AND anong oras po ba yung last bus FROM SUBIC TO MANILA???

  8. Okay. Thank you po.
About the Aotriz Apartment, ilang units ba meron sila dun? Dapat po ba kami magpabook or pwedeng walk-in nalang?

    • I suggest po na if ever pupunta kayo tawagan nyo po muna yun landlord para po mai-reserve kayo also to know if merong vacant. Ang pagkakatanda ko meron silang 8 apartment units.

  9. HELP!!

Hi.. Me and my bf are planning to visit ocean adventure park next month.

We will be coming from castillejos, zambales. Bago lang kami dito kayo wala kami masyadong alam sa mode of transpo for ocean adventure park.

Do we have to make a reservation before going there or. Pwede Kaya doon na kami bibili ng ticket for their show?

    Help please!!

    Thank you!!

    • Hi Larribel, you don’t need to make a reservation since you can buy the ticket directly at the park entrance. Taxi po ang easiest mode of transportation since wala pong PUV na nakakapasok sa loob ng SBMA. I have no idea on how to get to ocean park if coming from Zambales since I’m from Manila po. Sorry.

  10. ask ko lang po kung mag-kalapit lang ba yung zoobic safari and ocean adventure?? thanks a lot

  11. hello…ask ko lang if how much kaya aabutin ang taxi fare from Victory Liner terminal sa Olongapo hanggang Zoobic Safari? Thanks!

  12. hi. from subic park and shop po ano na sasakyan papunta ocean adventure? and from ocean adventure paano po papunta zoobic safari? badly need your answer sir. please, and thanks

    • There is no public transportation that will pass by Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari. So I suggest that you hire taxi, then ask the driver to wait or ask if the driver accept a contract.

  13. good day!

asked me lng po if may malapit din na dapat na liguan sa apartelle ninyo.

  14. Norman Lacayanga

my masakyan po s victory liner terminal olongapo pauwi s tarlac.? Kc d2 po kc me tarlac.
