Top 10 Car Companies in the Philippines 2010

I wonder who now the market leader is when it comes to auto industry but since I know about Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI) I checked their web site and with the help a my friend we found this piece of newspaper from Business Mirror with the list of the top 10 performing car company in the Philippines.

If I’m not mistaken these were rank in terms of cumulative units sales.

1. Toyota  –  the market leader with 21,397 units

2. Mitsubishi – 12, 891 units

3. Hyundai – 7,803 units

4. Honda – 7,373 units

5. Isuzu – 4,096 units

6. Ford plus Mazda – 3,693 units

7. Universal Motors – 2,690 units

8. Columbian Autocar – 2,331 units

9. Suzuki Philippines – 1,562 units

10. Nissan Motor Philippines Incorporated – 1,079 units
