Hi my webhost is godaddy, but it also have a lot of negative feedback from subscribers. You can try caching plugins like wpsupercache or total cache. You may also try gzip plugins if you haven’t tried it yet.

By the way did you have any bad experience with godaddy? Would you not recommend it?
I am using Web Hosting Buzz for over 2 years now, I was satisfied with it until recently when I had surge of traffic. My VPS plan which is already a bigger one could no longer handle the resource usage.
