The newest TV commercial BF-GF of the giant fast food chain McDonalds was pulled out after Catholic Bishop Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) called their attention to stop airing it. Catholic Church official (Caloocan Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez) remarked that it would send bad message to children who would have watched the 32 seconds TV commercial.
In the video a girl about 7 years old (maybe) asked a boy if she was already his girlfriend. The boy replied hesitantly because in his perception having a girlfriend would incur commitment. But then he changes his mind when he knew that the girl only wants a P25 McDonalds fries.
