Showtime 4th grand champion Astig Pinoy Replay

Astig Pinoy dance group from Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental was crowned as Showtime’s 4th grand champion. The group made probably the biggest leap yet from showtime performer and got the most deserving win. Astig Pinoy already made their mark as one of the most unique dance presentation since the monthly finals where they manage to incorporate modern dance routine to our very own tinikling whats really surprising is that the dancer who step over in between bamboo pole is blindfolded.

On December 10, 2011 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo Rizal astig pinoy showcased again their talent but with a very huge improvement on their concept. One of the highlights is when every member performing the tinikling and jumping rope portion is blindfolded. It is the perfect dance presentation I’ve ever seen so far that gets me goosebumps while watching the replay.

Astig Pinoy took home a total of 2 Million pesos where half of it will go to their represented barangay.

Nicole Kelly Miss Earth-USA 2011 Philippines is So Dirty and Noisy

Miss Earth-USA 2011 Nicole Kelly recently became one of the trending topic in social networking sites. Aside from visiting our country another main reason is that she allegedly thrown so much negative feedback regarding the Philippines and to Filipinos on her facebook wall.

Here’s the message:

I hardly made it to Manila and we already attended a ridiculous TV show. So annoying!!! These people want to touch you and be with you all the time!! I can’t understand a word they say. I can’t wait to go back home. This country is so dirty and noisy. I’m scared to eat!!! What a mess. On a lighter note I don’t see any real competition. Will keep you updated my loves

Few hours to few days later Miss Earth-USA 2011 Nicole Kelly released a statement claiming that her facebook account was hacked and she never said anything such in regard to the Philippines and to our fellow Filipinos.

This is last time I will address this… I NEVER said ANYTHING in poor taste or negative about the Philippines, the Philippino people, or anything else I am being accused of!!! All I can offer is an apology that my facebook account was hacked and to say that I had no internet access on those few days and that carousel supports me that it was not me making these comments. Cyberbullying is INEXCUSABLE and anyone who participates will be reported to facebook!!! From now on let’s live by the saying if you have nothing nice to say don’t say anything AT ALL!!! I had a fantastic time with all my girls in the Philippines and thank you from the bottom of my heart to carousel for providing us all this once in a LIFETIME opportunity!!! Stay glamorously green forever and always!!!

In my opinion as a human being Nicole Kelly has the right to express what she feels about our country or to any country that she got with whether the said statement is true or not. Let’s just consider it as points for improvement for the betterment of our Country after all everything that she said is true. But personally I doubt that Miss Earth-USA 2011 Nicole Kelly will say that considering she represent Miss Earth which aims to appreciate each other and make each other happy instead of tearing each other down (as what she said).

2012 Philippine Holidays List

2012 Philippine Holidays and special non working days list has been declared by the Philippine government on November 24 ,2011. The list is in accordance to Proclamation No. 295 signed by the President of the Republic of the Philippines Benigno S. Aquino III aka PNoy. The said procalamation will take effect immediately where the DOLE or department of labor and employment will announce the implementing guidelines for the said proclamation. So mark your calendar, plan your out of town trip or check jetstar airways or tiget airways for their upcoming airfare sale.

Gloria Arroyo Mug Shot Pictures

Former president of the Philippines now working as Pampanga representative Gloria Arroyo alleged Mug shot pictures can be seen in mugshot dot com.

The said mugshot picture was taken at St. Lukes hospital at the Fort where Gloria Arroyo is held under hospital arrest due to electoral sabotage filed against her at the Pasay City regional trial court. There are speculations regarding the authenticity of the picture, some says it was real though the criminal case number was altered. Whether it’s a mug shot or not one thing is really sure it is Gloria macapagal – arroyo that is depicted on the picture.

Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 Result, Score Card, Stats

Manny Pacquiao yet again defended his title (WBO Welterweight belt) for the third time against Juan Manuel Marquez during pacquiao vs Marquez 3 boxing event held on November 12 ET at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The result may sound like a controversy but it seems the two judges have clearly decided to give the fight to Manny Pacquiao while the other decided to a draw. The score card details 114-114, 115-113 and 116-112 in favour of Pacquiao.

While watching the event via live coverage from a cable provider in Laguna it seems that Juan Manuel Marquez III have won the fight since base from tv screen he landed more punches on pacquiao. Though from the stats of HBO pacquiao has thrown and landed more punches compared to marquez.

“Pacquiao has thrown 578 punches connecting 176 while Marquez had it 436 connecting 138. Pacquiao threw 304 jabs connecting 59 to Marquez’s 182 with 38 connects. Pacquiao threw 274 power punches connecting 117 while Marquez threw 254 with 100 connecting.”

I don’t know if it’s only me but it seems pacquiao is lacking on speed, lacking of footwork, lacking of one – two punches, lacking of energy as compared to his previous fights. It’s like his not the Manny Pacquiao whom the fans knew before. Anyway congratulations to Manny Pacquiao for winning the fight.

Lolong Largest Salt Water Crocodile in the World

Do you still remember Lolong the salt water crocodile that was captured on September 3,2011 using several traps in Bunawan Agusan del Sur? The latter was recently named as the largest salt water crocodile in captivity not only in the Philippines but in the whole world. Lolong was confirmed as the largest crocodile in the world by NatGeo Channel representative zoologist and crocodile expert Dr. Adam Britton. Lolong surpassed the length of current record holder Cassius Clay of Australia which is only 18ft in lenth.

Dr. Adam Britton will recommend Lolong to Guinness World Records as the largest salt water crocodile in captivity. If lolong will be recogniced by Guiness world records Agusan del Sur may become part of the leading tourist destination in the Philippines.

November 7 2011 Declared as Regular Holiday

November 7,2011 which falls on Monday is declared Regular Holiday by Malacanan Palace under the Proclamation number 276. According to Official Gazette November 7 was declared holiday due to the observance of EIDUL ADHA or Feast of Sacrifice. Please mark your calendar, plan your out of town trip as this again will be another long weekend for our fellow pinoys after the declaration October 31,2011 as holiday that falls also on Monday. As for me probably I will be celebrating my long weekend with my family in SM Malls or spend it going to 168 Mall in Divisoria. or play dota the whole day. Anyway just Enjoy….

Korina Sanchez Pregnant Not True

Korina Sanchez is currently one of the trending topic in Yahoo Philippines. One of the probable reason this happen is because she is rumored to be pregnant. In a taped interview from “The Buzz” Korina Sanchez denied the news that she is pregnant.

Here’s what she said:

“Mabuti pa ang Twitter buntis ako, pero sa totoong buhay hindi pa. Hindi pa talaga.”

According to ABS CBN news it all started when Senator Ping Lacson asked Mar Roxas if his wife is pregnant. During the the latter’s confirmation as the new Transfortaion and Communication Secretary.

Mar and Korina Sanchez-Roxas is been married for 2 years now and currently consulting a doctor for this matter.
