NSO Birth Certificate, Marriage Certificate, Fees

This is a public service post that caters to those who are in need of NSO birth certificate and/or NSO marriage certificate within Manila area. There are times that some of us are in need of an NSO authenticated birth certificate and nso authenticated certificate of marriage for whatever reason it may serve. You can read below the available alternatives for you to decide so you can have your documents the soonest.

The fastest way to get a copy of respective nso certificates is to go directly to the nearest nso branches in your area. If you choose this option you will be able to have the copy within one day assuming there is no problem with the document. If you are not in a hurry like you need the document a week after, then you can choose to have it delivered instead.

For those who need the document immediately it would be better to visit nso branch near your area. If you are in Manila (just like me) you can visit NSO Pasay branch.

Here’s how to get there:

1. You can ride LRT 1 then alight at Gil Puyat station. Ride multicab jeep at the front of JAC Liner

2. Tell the driver to drop you off at NSO Census Serbilis Center

Here are the current fees:

If you need the nso (Birth and Marriage certificate) documents week after then you can call nso delivery hotline (02) 737-1111. Payment fee I think is P300 per copy.

Anawangin Cove Zambales, Tour Package

No Wonder why Anawangin is one of the hottest and most search Philippine tourist/ beach destination of 2011 surpassing Boracay, Palawan and Caramoan. Probably Filipinos and outlanders would really want to experience interacting and getting much closer with nature as in no electricity, no highrise hotels, no cellphone signal and such around. Campers would prefer going to Anawangin Cove because of the adventure that it has to offer since tent is the only means of accommodation.

Anawangin is a crescent shape cove located at Barangay Pundaquit, 2206 San Antonio Zambales Philippines. It is famous for pine trees along the stretch of the cove, white sand and crystal clear waters.

From Manila to Anawangin would take about 4 – 5 hours by public transportation (Victory Liner Bus). From San Antonio to Barrio Pundaquit would take 10 to 15 minutes by tricycle. Boat ride from Pundaquit to Anawangin would take 20 to 30 minutes in an average. Complete travel guide on the link.

Comments:
Currently the best zoo I’ve been after zoobic safari. It would take 2 hours to get around the whole place. Clean and spacious comfort rooms. Animals are well fed, occasionally there are cages that have foul smell but that’s normal I think. According to our tour guide the zoo management is planning to acquire a giraffe soon. I notice they didn’t have an elephant, hippopotamus, and zebra. I was amazed to see that they do have hyena, black bears and meerkat which I can only see by wacthing natgeo. Guests can interact with the animals, by buying food for selected animals and feed it by them. Free and spacious parking space.

How to get to Estrel’s Bakeshop Quezon City

Here’s how to get to Estrel’s from Espana if you want to try caramel cakes made by them.

Estrel’s in Quezon City

From Espana ride jeep / FX with signboard “Fairview” then alight at G. Araneta Ave. corner Quezon Avenue. Landmark is the old Bio-research pet shop.
Ride Jeep with signboard “Proj. 2 and 3” then alight at Scout Tobias corner Timog.

From Scout Tobias turn right then walk few blocks. You’ll see Estrel’s Bake Shop at the corner of Scout Tobias corner Scout Limbaga.

Landmark would be McDonalds and BDO (Banco de Oro). From Espana there is direct jeepney route going to “Project 2 and 3” but it won’t pass Scout Tobias so don’t ride jeep there.

*I hope this would help you going to Estrel’s

JAC Liner First Free Wi-FI Bus, Routes

I was riding a bus going to Sta. Rosa Laguna when I saw the rear part of JAC Liner bus having an advertisement that they offer a free Wi-Fi while on board. It got my attention due to the fact that it happened for the first time that a bus company in the Philippines offer a free wi-fi (Cool). This offering by Jac Liner is advantageous to travelers who still want to be connected with their friends in social networking sites assuming they have wi-fi enabled gadgets.  I haven’t tried it though according to their website all you need to do is to boot up your laptop or Wi-Fi capable cell phones and you’ll have smooth-running internet access in their bus.

So if you’re planning to visit southbound tourist destinations try to check this offering from Jac Liner. But be extra cautious for sure people with bad intentions will also try to get to that bus.

Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes Bulacan

During my childhood days 20 years ago this was the place that my aunt told me about that they visit during holy week. We had a chance to visit the place on Easter Sunday after we’re done checking a property in subdivision near the area.  Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is situated at Barangay Graceville, San Jose del Monte City, Province of Bulacan. The church was solemn the sound of passing vehicles cannot be heard while attending the mass because it’s very far from the main road. Every visitors / pilgrim are requested to fill their names in a notebook located at the right side entrance of the church. I’ll visit the place again if I have a chance.

How to Get To SM Mall of Asia, Easiest Way, Quickest Way, Directions, Map

You can get to the Mall of Asia via taxi, bus or jeepney. The easiest is by taxi of course, but if you’re short of budget the second easiest/quickiest is to ride MRT or LRT then drop off at EDSA-Taft station. In front of Kabayan Hotel there are file of multicabs which heads directly to SM Mall of Asia fare is P8.

From Caloocan or Monumento:

Ride LRT then Drop off at EDSA Station in front of Kabayan Hotel Ride Multicab going to Mall of Asia.

By Bus:

If you’re coming from EDSA ride a bus going south with signboard “MOA” or “Mall of Asia” then tell the driver or conductor to drop you off in Mall of Asia.

From South: Alabang

If you’re coming from south like in Alabang I suggest from Star Mall ride jeep going to Pasay Rotonda tell the driver to drop you off in front of Kabayan Hotel. From there ride multicab going to SM Mall of Asia.

From the Airport: I suggest you ride Taxi.
