University Athletic Association of the Philippines Season 74 or popularly known as UAAP Season 74 has just started the previous UAAP Season 73 was hosted by De La Salle University this time UAAP season 74 is hosted by Ateneo De Manila University. The opening ceremony was held on July 9,2011 at the Marikina Sports Complex with total of 12,000 plus participants coming from the audiences, athletes, alumnus and school officials of the eight (8) participating Universities in the Philippines have attended the opening ceremony. The opening match-up will be held on Araneta Coliseum, July 10,2011 at 1pm. First game is FEU (Light colored Jersey) vs DLSU (Dark Colored Jersey) followed by Ateneo De Manila University (Light colored Jersey) vs Adamson University (Dark Colored Jersey) at 3pm.
