Are your looking for ways to verify if a so called POEA accredited Agencies is legit or not? As far as I know there are three (3) ways where you can verify if a certain poea recruitment agency has license or not. What you need to do is go the the POEA website on the upper right there is search box type in the names of poea agencies which you want to verify. The result will be open in a new window from there you can determine if that specific poea agency is legitimate.

The second alternative of checking the legitimacy of a poea agency is to go again on the search box you can see a link regarding “approved job orders” check the link. It will point you to a new window where you will have three choices.

Choose the third one “Search Approved Job Orders by Agency.” Again it will be opened in a new window.
You can point your cursor on the dropdown menu or you may type in the first letter of the agency name. If the name of the agency appeared then there is a big chance that it is a legitimate poea agency.

The third alternative is you call poea contact number 722.11.44 / 722.11.55 or send email to info(at)poea.gov.ph to verify the names of the poea agencies.
*I got the idea while browsing the poea website. It would be best if you call poea hotline and verify the name of poea agency by yourself.
