Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine attempts to sing his band’s latest single ‘Sugar’ while riding Japanese supercar Nissan GT-R. Will he be able to keep his singing tune and complete the song or be blown away by the car’s performance? Let’s find out in the video below.
Adam Levine was challenge by Nissan that he will not be able to perform the song ‘Sugar’ while he’s getting whipped around in the GT-R. Adam says he can and accepts the challenge of the Japanese car manufacturer.

Unfortunately, the Maroon 5 lead vocalist was not able to succeed against Nissan’s challenge.
At the start, he clearly sings the first few lines of the song but as Nissan GT-R shows off its power in straight track and sharp turns, Adam can no longer finish his lines. He often ended up with words like “whoaaa, yeehaw, and wooo.”
The Voice coach often laughs and probably experience shortness of breath during the ride. He clearly can’t keep up with GT-R’s performance.
He comes to the point where he says he no longer cares about singing. Instead, he just enjoys the ride. “I don’t even care about singing right now, I’m just going to enjoy this,” the Maroon 5 lead vocalist has said.
Despite clearly losing to Nissan’s challenge, Adam Levine seems happy with the experience. He ended up the ride with claps and asks for more. Levine remarked the riding experience as the greatest thing ever. He is willing to ride Nissan GT-R again. “More, more, more, I’m telling you; this is the greatest thing ever. I want to do it again,” the actual words he said.
The video is currently viral. It was uploaded by The Voice on its Facebook page last November 20,2014. It currently has 5.2 Million views, thousands of comments, thousands of shares and thousands of likes from the fans of Maroon 5, and Nissan.

Their aim is to perform their latest single ‘Sugar’ in front of the newlywed couples. The performance was captured and edited to be part of the song’s music video that was uploaded in Youtube on January 14,2015. The MV, as of writing, has 67 Million views.
