Popular pop / rock band in the Philippines – Aegis will be having a live concert in Singapore this coming October 26,2014. You can find here the ticket price and the concert venue.

The AEGIS Band compose of seven members Juliet Sunot, Mercy Sunot, Ken Sunot, Stella Pabico, Vilma Goloviogo, Wend Adriano, and Rey Abenoja will be visiting Singapore for the first time.

They will have two-part concert schedule on October 26,2014; Concert 1 will start at 2pm, and concert 2 will be at 7pm of the same day. Singapore’s celebrity “Rockstar” and recording artist Ms. Pamela Wildheart will also be performing during the concert.

The band started in 1995 with the name “AG’s Soundtrippers,” it was based on the initials of their manager. The band later on change their name to ‘Aegis’ meaning protection or shield.

Since 1998, they already released 10 albums which reached Platinum and Gold marks. Most of their albums were under Alpha Records, and Harmony Music.

They popularised the song “Halik,” (kiss) “Luha,”(tears) “Basang-Basa sa Ulan,” (drenched in the rain) and many OPM songs.

According to the band’s Facebook page, the success of Aegis band in the music making industry can be attributed to two factors; their undeniable talent and their songs that probably touched the hearts of Millions of Filipinos worldwide.
