I came across a photo of a tablet PC that has a dual-core processor. I was simply amazed because this product came from China and it was the first of its kind to have a dual-core processor on a tablet pc.
What I am talking about here is the APad M8002 wherein as describe it was 8 inches Tablet PC with an 800 by 600 screen resolution, it supports Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and can play 1080p HDMI videos.
It has a built-in 1.3MP camera, connect to a local area network or Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), external 3G (CDMA/WCDMA), GPS, high-fidelity output with a 3D surround stereo speaker. It has a 2818A 600MHZ Rockchip Dual-Core processor and has an Android 2.1 operating system.
The price per unit is about USD 151.55 or roughly Php 8000. I’m not sure if this product is available in the Philippines, but hopefully, one of these days I could put my hands on one to come up with a review.
