The TESDA Automotive Servicing NC is the training you need to take if you want to learn how to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and upgrade the parts of light and heavy-duty motor vehicles. It is also a skill you should acquire to work as an auto mechanic in Car Dealers, and Automotive Manufacturing Companies.

Automotive Servicing has 4 levels of certification namely NC 1, NC 2, NC 3, and NC 4. These levels cover lessons and modules enabling you to know and prepare the tools to troubleshoot car problems. Moreover, perform the basic, intermediate, and complex types of maintenance and repairs of motor vehicles.

The lessons that you will learn in NC 1 include pre-delivery inspection, maintenance of the Engine, Drivetrain, Brake, Steering, and Suspension of vehicles. You will learn to service, diagnose, and repair the air-conditioning, and electrical systems of vehicles in NC 2.

The Automotive Servicing NC 3 lessons focus on engine overhauling and its related components. Meanwhile, NC 4 scope of lessons ranges from servicing and repairing of chassis, the electronic control system of the Engine, and the emission control system of motor vehicles.

The minimum requirements to enroll in a TESDA accredited Automotive Servicing School are PSA Birth Certificate, 1 x 1 and 2 x 2 ID pictures, a High School Diploma, and a Good Moral Character certificate. Inquire with the school about the other requirements.

How much is the Tuition Fee for Automotive Servicing Training

The tuition fee for the TESDA Automotive training NC I and NC II is between 32000 pesos to 61000 pesos per student. The fee may be inclusive of tuition, uniforms, and tools. Please inquire with the respective training centers for their payment terms.

How long is the Tesda Automotive Servicing Training NC

The duration of Automotive Servicing NC I training is between 165 hours to 272 hours or 1 to 2 months. The duration of Automotive Servicing NC II is between 705 hours to 720 hours or approximately 5 to 6 months.

This is based on the estimate that the school lesson is conducted 5 hours a day from Mondays to Fridays, not including the weekends.

The total cost of the automotive servicing assessment fee is around 700 pesos per student. This includes the materials and assessor’s fee.
