Globe’s balance inquiry feature enables you to check your load balance whenever you want to. It is a free service to help you monitor the available load stored on your Globe sim card anytime.
There are 6 possible ways to determine your load balance. It is by dialing #143*, using the Globeone app, by interactive voice response (ivr), and through SMS. Some of these options require that you are connected to the internet while you can use the others almost immediately using your phone. In this post, you will find out how to check your prepaid load balance in Globe using the 6 mentioned ways.
How to Check Load Balance in Globe
Dial *143# on your Globe SIM Phone
This is by far the easiest way to check your load balance. What you need to do is press the phone icon on your smartphone. Then using the keypad dial *143#. Afterward, press the call button.
After a few seconds, the Globe menu will flash on your screen. You will see your regular load balance on the top of the menu.
In my example, you will see that my current balance is only PHP 39.5. You can use this type of balance inquiry service up to 12 times per day free of charge. This option is available even when you are traveling abroad.

Check your Load Balance using the GlobeOne App
Globeone app allows you to monitor everything about your globe telecom subscriptions. This includes keeping track of your regular load and data balance.
The app is available for download in the ios Appstore, Huawei Appgalery, and GooglePlay. Register for an account using your globe prepaid and postpaid number and your valid email address. You will see your current load balance on the homepage of your GlobeOne app. You will also see the expiration date of your load. In the given example, my load balance is Php 39.50 and it will expire on September 16, 2021.
Check your balance via text BAL then send it to 222
This is the most straightforward way to check your prepaid load balance. All you need to do is text BAL and then send it to 222 using your mobile device. Wait for a text reply showing your remaining regular load balance. This service is also free of charge.
Dial 211 for interactive voice response (IVR)
The Interactive Voice Response (IVR) feature of Globe Telecom is another way to do your balance inquiry. It is like calling a customer service representative except that the person on the other line is just a recorded voice message. The voice response highly depends on your choices when you dial a number on your keypad.
You have to dial the corresponding number that will lead to the balance inquiry service. Afterward, Globe will send you a text message containing your load balance.
Using your Phone’s SIM Applications Menu
This is an old-school way to check your globe load balance but luckily this is still working even at present times.
If you have not known yet, your sim card can do many things such as store phone numbers, do balance inquiries, check globe promos, share-a-load, view Globe rewards, and check your GCash balance.

To do balance inquiry using your Globe SIM applications on your iPhone, you can go to Settings > Mobile Data > SIM Applications > BAL INQUIRY
Wait for a text message containing your current load balance.
View your Balance via the Globe Telecom Website
Luckily, you can also check your globe load balance via the www.globe.com.ph website. To do so, you need to create an account with the telco.

Hover your mouse on top of the “Logged In” link. It is located on the upper right-hand side of the webpage. A popup menu will show up. Select the “Go to GlobeOne” app to view your current load balance. You will see it at the center of the page.
Why should you keep track of your Globe load balance?
The main reason you should monitor your available load is to know if you can call or send text messages to anyone seamlessly.
The second reason is to become prepared during crucial times. Imagine a scenario where you run out of prepaid load in the middle of the night while you are talking to your crush over the phone. Or you run out of data while you are in the middle of an intense mobile legends game. Or early in the morning as you are going to school, you can’t text or call your classmates because you are not aware of your globe sim’s load balance. For sure it’s a hassle.
The third reason we monitor our load balance is for us to check our consumption rate on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This is for budgeting purposes to know how much of our salary/baon goes to our regular load.
Conclusion
Prepaid subscribers of Globe Telecom now have many choices in checking their load balance. As of the moment, there are 6 possible ways. Some options are very easy to do, while some require a data connection.
Among the choices, checking your load balance by texting BAL and then send to 222 is the simplest way. The GlobeOne app on the other hand requires an internet connection and you have to register for a globe account. The way I see it, checking your load balance via your SIM card Applications menu is a bit complicated as not many are familiar with it.
Now that you know the 6 possible ways to check your load balance in Globe, what you need to do is choose which is more convenient for you. As for me, I will choose the most straightforward which is by texting BAL to 222. There you have it guys. I hope this helps!
Hi Matt, thanks your info on how to check my GLOBE load balance. I am using *143# which is very helpful.
How can I check expiry dates of my prepaid loads? In the past it was possible by calling/texting 222, but this feature now seems to have disappeared.
Thanks, Tommy.
