There are 4 possible ways to determine your load balance. It is by dialing #123*, using the Gigalife App, through the online website, and using the myPldt Smart App. Some of these options require an internet connection, while for the others, you only need to do a few taps on your smartphone’s screen. The easiest way to check the load balance in Smart is by dialing *123#.

How to Check Load Balance in Smart
Dial #123* on your Smart SIM Phone
This is the fastest and easiest way to check your load balance on your Smart SIM phone. What you need to do is tap the call icon on your smartphone. Then using the keypad dial #123*. Afterward, press the call button.
After a few seconds, Smart Telecom’s USSD menu will flash on your phone’s screen. You will see your load balance at the top center of the screen. You can do this even when you are traveling out of the country.

Check your Load Balance using the Gigalife App
To do this, download the Gigalife App on App Store for iPhone users or in Play Store for Android phone users. Afterward, sign up for an account. Type in your Smart SIM number and your preferred password in the given space.
Login to your Gigalife account, and you will see your load balance on the homepage of the app. You will also know when your load will expire. This option requires that you have an internet connection.

Check your load balance using the MyPLDT Smart App
To do this download the app on your Android or iPhone. Afterward, Log in to your MyPLDT Smart App. Type your Smart or TNT mobile number or your email address in the Sign-in form.
Once you input your correct login details. The app will immediately show you your load balance and its expiration date. Aside from that, you will also see there your mobile number.

Check your balance via text BAL then send it to 214
This is the simplest way to check your load balance in Smart. To do this, open your SMS app on your smart mobile phone then type “BAL” and send it to 214. Wait for a reply showing the details of your current load balance.
View your Balance via the Smart Communication Website
Visit Smart Telecom’s website at my.smart.com.ph and create an account. To do this, enter your Smart SIM number or your email address in the given space. Afterward, type your preferred password. The Smart Telecom’s website will send an OTP to the mobile number that you register. Enter the 4-digit OTP code on the website.
Log in to your my.smart account online. You will see your load balance and its expiration date on the homepage of your my.smart account page under “My Services and Usage”. You will also see there whether your Smart SIM number is prepaid or postpaid and its activation date. This option requires that you have a data connection.

When should you check your load balance in Smart?
You should check it when you are about to engage in heavy data, calls, or SMS usage. For example, check your prepaid load balance when traveling abroad before you activate the mobile roaming feature or when you are going to secluded areas, when there is a typhoon in your area, or when you are doing school projects. Consider also checking your load before you talk to your crush over the phone.
