Cherry Mobile has released a teaser photo of their list of smartphones and tablets that are running in quad-core processor. There are two phones and two tablets in the teaser photo however, the second phone was only a silhouette with “flying once again soon” hint. Because of this, many cherry mobile followers think that it will be an upgrade of their existing Skyfire. It turns out to be true now that Cherry Mobile has released the Skyfire 2.0.
Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 is the latest smartphone from the local phone distributor. It has 5” qHD scratch resistant display powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core snapdragon processor and run the latest android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. This new model is equipped with an 8MP main (with flash) and 2MP front-facing camera for capturing quality images and video call, respectively. Out of the box it is packed with a 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. This phone is also dual SIM which seems a standard specs for the distributor.
Cherry Mobile Skyfire 2.0 price is P7999. It is priced higher compared to its previous version, in my point of view the 2K additional cost is very much acceptable specs wise, and since its closest competitor MyPhone A919i Duo is priced P7900 which is P100 less.
