December 8 2014 Suspension of Classes Philippines

Due to Super Typhoon Ruby with international name ‘Hagupit,’ DepEd has released suspension of classes for December 8,2014 in several affected locations in the Philippines. DepEd announced the suspension of classes in their official Facebook page on December 6,2014.

According to PAGASA as of 10PM today, Typhoon Ruby‘s center is located at 70km Northwest of Masbate City. It has maximum sustained winds of 140Kph near the center and gustiness of up to 170Kph. On Monday evening (December 8,2014), the super typhoon is expected to be at 45km Northwest of Calapan City in Orental Mindoro.
