How to Find the List of TESDA-Accredited Schools for the Driving Course

I initially included in this post the list of driving schools in some parts of Metro Manila, Cavite, and Laguna. If you are in other parts of the Philippines, here are the steps on how to find TESDA-accredited driving schools near you.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of TESDA

The official website of TESDA is www.tesda.gov.ph. At the middle part of the homepage go to the “For Learners and Workers” link for the pop-up window to show up. Under Training, go to the “Registered Courses” link.

Alternatively, go to “Registered Courses” under Verifications at the bottom right corner of the homepage.

Step 2: Type the Name of the Course which is Driving in the Given Space

Under TVI with Registered Program, you must type the course and city names in the space provided. Since you want to know the TESDA schools that offer the Driving Course, type “Driving” under “Course” and the name of your City (for example Cebu).

Step 3: View the list of TESDA Accredited Driving Schools

After typing the needed information in Step 2, the TESDA website will show you the list of schools near you that offer the Driving Course (NC II). You will see in the list the name of schools, addresses, and telephone numbers.

What you have to do is scan the list, then select your preferred Driving school.

Step 4: Inquire with the Driving School about Enrollment Requirements

Reach out to the Driving School by visiting their office, or calling their telephone numbers. Ask them about the admission requirements, tuition fee, training duration, and class schedule. Inquire also about the car model and whether it is a manual or automatic transmission. You may also ask the school if they are LTO accredited.

Step 5: Enroll in the Driving School

If you are satisfied with their answers in Step 4. Proceed with the enrollment so you can start learning to drive immediately.

How Long is the TESDA Driving Course NC?

The training duration for the TESDA Driving course NC II and NC III is between 118 hours to 122 hours or 2 months. This is based on 4 hours a day at 5 days a week training session.

The course may cover Theoretical Driving Course and Practical Driving Course. Inquire with the school about their specific class duration.

How Much is the Tuition Fee?

The tuition fee for the Driving Course is between 4000 pesos to 53000 pesos. The fee depends on the brand, model, number of hours, and type of vehicle that you want to drive during the course.

How Much is the TESDA Driving NC Assessment Exam Fee?

The assessment fee for the Driving Course is between 535 pesos to 2445 pesos. The cost varies which depends if the candidate or the assessment center provides the vehicle to test the driving skills of the candidate.

Driving Schools Admission Requirements

Before the trainee is accepted in the driving course, he/she should be of good moral character and can communicate orally and in writing.

The aspiring trainee should also have a mentally healthy and physically fit certificate from a doctor/Public health officer. This is on top of the initial requirement of TESDA-accredited schools for the driving course.
