Cartimar is one of the popular shopping centers in the National Capital Region. Its address is Cartimar Avenue Pasay City Metro Manila 1300. People flock here to buy bicycle parts, exotic plants, affordable sneakers, ready-to-wear products, exotic pets, and pet supplies.
Back in the day, Cartimar has been known as the go-to shopping center if you like to shop for imported products/PX goods at a lower price. You can find in the shopping center imported chocolates, sneakers, perfumes, branded jeans, types of equipment, and a lot more.
At present, Cartimar has more than 200 sneaker stores, international specialty stores, bazaars, over 110 pet shops, plants and orchid stores, bicycle shops, and a food court.
How to get to Cartimar Shopping Center by Commute
Cartimar is strategically located between Libertad and Gil Puyat LRT stations on Taft Avenue. Libertad station is 320 meters away from the shopping center while Gil Puyat station is 370 meters away. You can alight in either of the two stations and you would only need to walk for 5 minutes to get to Cartimar.
The shopping center though very popular is a bit secluded. Its main entrance is along Taft Avenue, but you might miss it if you are not familiar with the place. The landmarks that will tell you are a stone’s throw away from the shopping center are McDonalds and 7-Eleven opposite each other.
The road that runs through a building located between these two stores is Cartimar avenue which is the entrance to the shopping center. Here are some of the directions and waypoints going to Cartimar.
From SM Fairview
Ride UV Express in SM Fairview with signboard Buendia. Tell the driver to drop you off at Buendia LRT station or Buendia bus terminal.
Along Taft Avenue ride jeep with signboard Pasay or Baclaran via Taft Avenue. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar. Remember the landmark I stated earlier.
From Cubao Araneta Center Quezon City
In Gateway Mall in Cubao, you can ride LRT 2 bound to Recto. The train fare is 20 pesos. Once in Recto, take the walkway bridge towards Doroteo Jose LRT 1 station. At D. Jose ride the LRT bound for Baclaran then alight at Gil Puyat station. The train fare Doroteo Jose Station to Gil Puyat Station is 20 pesos.
From there you can walk for 5 minutes along Taft Avenue towards Pasay. Turn right on the road that is between Mcdonald’s and 7-Eleven.
If you are not keen on walking, then ride a jeep with signboard Pasay or Baclaran via Taft. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar. The Jeepney fare is 12 pesos.
From Novaliches Quezon City
Ride UV express in Robinsons Place Novaliches bound to Buendia. Tell the driver that you will alight at Gil Puyat LRT station or Buendia bus terminal.
In Taft Avenue ride jeep with signboard Baclaran or Pasay via Taft Avenue. Inform the driver that you will alight at Cartimar. The Jeepney fare is 12 pesos to 20 pesos.
The alternative way is from Novaliches bayan, ride jeep with signboard Blumentritt. Once you are in Blumentritt, ride LRT 1 at Blumentritt station which bound to Baclaran then alight at Gil Puyat station.

From there ride a jeep with signboard Baclaran or Pasay via Taft Avenue. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar.
From SM North Quezon City
The fastest and hassle-free way to get to Cartimar is by riding LRT 1 bound to Baclaran at Roosevelt Station then alight at Gil Puyat Station. From there you can ride jeep bound to Pasay via Taft Avenue. Tell the driver that you will alight at Cartimar.
From CM Recto in Manila
In Rizal Avenue, ride a Jeepney with a signboard Baclaran or Pasay via Taft Avenue. Tell the driver that you will alight a Cartimar. The estimated Jeepney fare is between 12 pesos to 20 pesos
Alternatively, ride LRT 1 bound for Baclaran at Doroteo Jose Station. Afterward, alight Gil Puyat station. The train fare is 20 pesos.
From there you can ride a jeep with Pasay via Taft signboard then tell the driver that you will alight at Cartimar. The jeepney fare is 12 pesos.

From EDSA
Ride the MRT Line 3 train bound for Taft Avenue Station then alight at the latter. The MRT Fare is between 13 pesos to 28 pesos.
From there use the walkway bridge going to LRT 1 EDSA station. At the EDSA station ride LRT bound for Monumento. The train fare is 15 pesos. Afterward, alight at Libertad station.
From there ride a jeep with any of the signboards such as Divisoria/ Gil Puyat/Manila City Hall/Quiapo. Tell the driver that you will alight at Cartimar. The Jeepney fare is 12 pesos.
From Cavite
Ride any bus going to Lawton in Manila. Alight at LRT 1 Quirino Station.
Ride the LRT 1 bound to Baclaran at Quirino station then alight at Gil Puyat Station. From there ride jeep bound to Baclaran then alight at Cartimar.
The other option is from in Taft Avenue ride jeep bound to Baclaran or Pasay via Taft. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar.
From Laguna
Ride any bus with signboard Gil Puyat or Buendia. In Taft Avenue ride jeep with signboard Pasay or Baclaran via Taft. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar.
There are also buses from Laguna that are only up to Ayala or with Ayala signboard. Ride the said bus and alight at Buendia Avenue. Afterward, cross the road and then ride a jeep with signboard Taft Avenue Buendia LRT. Once in taft avenue ride jeep bound to Baclaran / Pasay via Taft Avenue. Tell the driver to drop you off at Cartimar.
