Do you have a Hewlett-Packard (HP) laptop, printer, or monitor that needs a repair, you can bring them to the HP service center near you.
In this post, I will teach you how to find repair centers that are official and/or authorized service partners to diagnose and repair your HP products.
Before you bring your device to the repair center it is imperative that you check if your device is still under warranty. I will also teach you the steps on how to know the warranty status of your HP devices.
Steps to Find the List of HP Service Centers Near You
Step 1: Visit the Hewlett-Packard HP website then Go to the Support Tab
The official website of HP is www.hp.com. When you are at the homepage, you will see in the navigation bar tabs such as ‘Explore’, ‘Shop’, and ‘Support.’ Hover your mouse in the ‘Support’ to see the dropdown menus. 
Step 2: Proceed to Authorized Service Providers
In the dropdown menus, you will see the different services HP is offering. These are ‘Problem Solving’, ‘Support by Product’, and ‘Support Resources’. Under the latter, go to ‘Authorized Service Providers’.
Step 3: Select Country, City, Radius, and HP Product for Repair
On the new page, select in the dropdown menu your Country/Region which is the Philippines. Under City, address, or Postal code input only the information that you know. For example, if you are in Manila, then type that in the given space.
In the radius, input the distance of the HP repair center that you are willing to visit. For example, your location is Makati. Are you willing to visit the service center that is within a 50km radius of your location? If your answer is yes, then input 50km.
Under ‘Supported Products’ tick whichever is applicable to the HP product that needs a repair. For example, if you have a broken HP laptop, then tick ‘Consumer Notebook’, or if it is an HP PC then tick ‘Consumer Desktop’ or ‘Consumer PC’. Meanwhile, if your home printer needs servicing, then tick ‘Consumer Print’.
Step 4: View the List of HP Service Centers Near You
Once you are done filling out the information, hit the ‘Search’ button. As a result, based on your information in step 3, the HP website will show you the list of service centers near your location. You can find in the list the name, addresses, and contact details of the centers.
Step 5: Contact and Visit the Repair Center
Get the repair center’s information and inquire directly to them by phone if they offer repair for your HP product. The other information that you need to ask for is the business hours, supported products, diagnostic fee, labor cost, and price of the parts.

How to know the Warranty Status of your HP Product
Before you bring your HP desktop, laptop, or printer to the nearest service center, you can check if your device is still within the warranty. If your device is under warranty, chances are you do not need to shell out some bucks for the parts and labor. Otherwise, if it is expired, prepare some cash to pay for them.
Here I will teach you the steps on how you can check the warranty status of your HP device on your own. This is to manage your expectations and know if it is worth it to send your device for repair or just buy a new one.
- Step 1: Visit www.hp.com then mouseover to Support tab
- Step 2: Under Support Resources go to Check Warranty
- Step 3: Enter the Serial Number of your HP Device then Check the Warranty
- Step 4: HP displays the Warranty information of your Product
I have tried doing the steps to see if my HP Pavillion touchscreen laptop is still within warranty. Based on the result, unfortunately, my laptop’s warranty has expired.
You can do the same. All you have to do is locate the serial number of your device and follow the given steps. If you have an HP laptop, you can find its serial number (SN#) at the bottom of its body.
