How to Get To SM Mall of Asia by Public Transportation

The biggest mall in the Philippines is SM Mall of Asia or SM MOA, which is in Pasay City. Its address is Seaside Boulevard, Pasay City Metro Manila, Philippines 1300.

The mall has a gross floor area of 49 hectares and a floor area of roughly 4 hectares. The mall has allotted 8000 parking spaces for private vehicles, 100 spaces for tourist buses, and 5000 square meters of space for PUVs.

The Mall of Asia was the 25th mall of the SM Group at the time it was opened to the public on May 2006. The SM Group considered MOA as one of its most successful malls due to the details that it has an occupancy rate of 98% to 100%. How to go to SM Mall of Asia

You can get to SM Mall of Asia by bus, Jeepney, Taxi, and private vehicles only. The nearest MRT Line 3 station from MOA is the Taft Avenue Train Station which is 2.01 km away. The second nearest is the EDSA Station of LRT-1 which is 2.05 km away.

The easiest and quickest way to get to SM Mall of Asia is to ride a train in any of MRT Line 3 or LRT 1 stations bound for EDSA corner Taft Avenue. Once you are there, ride a bus or jeepney that has a signboard Mall of ASIA or MOA. You will know that you are near the mall when you are already seeing the SM Mall of Asia Globe. From Cubao to Mall of Asia

Route 1: Board the MRT Line 3 train in Cubao Araneta station bound for Taft Avenue Station. Alight at the latter 9 stops after. The travel distance is 12.3 km and the train fare is 24 pesos per person. Once you are there take the exit facing the Metro Point Shopping Mall.

From there walk 150 meters towards the Empire Centre building located along EDSA. At the front of the latter, ride a Jeepney with signboards MOA or SM Mall of Asia. Tell the driver to drop you off at the front of the Mall of Asia. The travel distance is 1.87 km and the jeepney fare is 12 pesos.

Route 2: Ride the EDSA Carousel Bus at Cubao Main Avenue Station then alight at SM Mall of Asia (MOA) 7 stops after. The bus fare from Main Avenue to MOA is 30.50 pesos per person.

From Alabang to Mall of Asia

Route 1: At StarMall Alabang, ride any Jeepney with a signboard Pasay Rotonda then alight in front of Kabayan Hotel. The travel distance is 16.2 km and the jeepney fare is 26 pesos. From there walk 230 meters towards Empire Centre building along EDSA.

From Caloocan Monumento to Mall of Asia

Route 1: Ride the train bound for Baclaran at LRT 1 Monumento Station. Alight at EDSA station 16 stops after. The travel distance is 13.36 km and the train fare is 30 pesos per person. Take the exit facing Andoks. Afterward, walk 170 meters towards the Empire Centre building.

From Gil Puyat / Buendia to Mall of Asia

Route 1: From Gil Puyat LRT station walk 90 meters to get to Mcdonald’s restaurant along Buendia Avenue. At the front of the Fast-Food chain, ride the Orange Multi-cab with signboard MOA. Tell the driver that you will alight at the Mall of Asia entrance. The travel distance is 3.34 km, and the fare is 12 pesos.

Route 2: Ride the LRT train at Gil Puyat Station bound for Baclaran then alight at EDSA station 2 stops after. The travel distance is 1.7 km, and the train fare is 15 pesos per person.

Take the exit facing Andoks. From there walk 170 meters toward the Empire Centre building. Ride the Jeepney with signboard MOA. Tell the driver that you will alight at SM Mall of Asia. The travel distance is 1.87 meters and the fare is 12 pesos.

From Calamba Laguna to Mall of Asia

Route 1: Ride Provincial Bus bound for Buendia Taft with signboard Magallanes. Tell the driver to drop you off at Magallanes Interchange or Magallanes in Makati. The travel distance is 45 km, and the bus fare is approximately 90 pesos per person.  From there walk towards the MSM Wells Photolab (Blue Building).

At the front of the building ride Jeepney with signboards Mall of ASIA or MOA. Tell the driver that you will alight at MOA. The travel distance is 3.61 km and the fare is 12 pesos.

Route 2: From Calamba ride Provincial Bus bound for Buendia Taft with signboard Magallanes. Tell the driver that you will alight at Magallanes. From there walk 300 meters going to Magallanes MRT Line 3 Station. Board the train bound for Taft Avenue then alight at the latter 1 stop after. The MRT fare is 13 pesos.

Take the exit facing Metro Point Mall. From there walk 170 meters towards the Empire Centre building. Ride the Jeepney with the signboard Mall of Asia. Tell the driver to drop you at MOA. The travel distance is 1.87 km, and the jeepney fare is 12 pesos per person.

From Cavite to Mall of Asia

Route 1: Ride any provincial bus bound for PITX. Alight at the terminal exchange. The travel distance is 3.63 km, and the Jeepney fare is 13 pesos per person.

At PITX ride jeepney / Modern Jeepney with signboards LRT/ Buendia/ MOA. Tell the driver to drop you off at Mall of Asia.
