Steps to make the iPad a Second Monitor for Windows PC
So far, this is the simplest possible way as you only need to do 3 easy steps. Also, you can download the app for free for personal use.
Step 1. Install the Splashtop wired xdisplay agent on your ipad
Go to the AppStore and search for the Splashtop wired xdisplay icon. Afterward, download and install it on your ipad device. The file size for this app is only 13MB. It is very small.

Step 2. Download the splashtop wired xdisplay agent on windows 10
Go to the website splashtop wired xdisplay website at www.splashtop.com/downloads. Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you reach the “Other Products.” There you will find the download link for wired xdisplay.
Install the application to your windows 10 pc. There is also an option to create an account with the developer to stay up to date with their offerings.
Step 3. Setting your ipad as second screen
Now that you have the applications installed on both your windows 10 and ipad. You can now make your ipad as second screen for your windows pc.

Run the wired xdisplay application on your ipad. When you do so, the screen on the latter will prompt you to connect to your computer.
