There are approximately 100,000 jobs that will be available in Japan for Filipinos and foreigners. But there is a possibility that Filipino professionals and semi-skilled workers will be the priority once the said country starts hiring additional manpower.
This is another good news for Filipino job seekers who dreamed of working abroad particularly in Japan. Ministry of Health and Labor of Japan announced to POEA that the former will be opening its doors to skilled and semi-skilled Filipino job seekers.
The job openings in Japan will be under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). Philippines and Japan officials in-charged are now drafting a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the program.
Once the MOU was signed by both parties, POEA will then start deploying professionals and semi-skilled workers to private institutions in Japan under the said framework.

Currently, there are no available job orders yet but interested Filipino job seekers can occasionally check the official website of POEA (www.poea.gov.ph) for updates about the said job opportunity. Aspiring OFWs can also visit the website of POEA to know the list of manpower agencies that presently have job openings (with available job orders) for Japan.
