The Suspension of Classes for July 16,2014 (Wednesday) were announced by the Department of Education (DepEd). This is due to Typhoon Glenda which is already in the Philippine Area of Responsibility and has already landfall.

For areas where there is no storm signal, Local Goverment Units (LGU) has the discretion whether they will declare suspension of classes in their respective location.
Here is the Automatic Suspension of Classes Guidelines
Signal #1 – No classes for Kindergarten
Signal #2 – No classes for Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School
Signal #3 – No classes in all levels including Graduate Schools
Typhoon Glenda is expected to pass Metro Manila before noon time tomorrow (July 16,2014). At 2PM of July 17,2014, Glenda will be expected to be outside of the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
