Miss Universe Margie Moran oozes honesty and practicality as she says her winning answer to a tough final question during the Miss Universe pageant held in Athens, Greece in July of 1973.

Maria Margarita “Margie” Moran was able to bag the Miss Universe crown during the pageant’s 22nd event held in Athens Greece on July 21, 1973. She was only 19 years old at the time of the competition. She bested 61 beauty queens from around the world that participated in the event.
From the 61 candidates, it was reduced to the Top 12. The judges have further narrowed it down to the Top 5. The final five are Miss USA, Miss Philippines, Miss Norway, Miss Israel, and last but not least Miss Spain.
During the last part of the event, the 5 finalists need to answer a random general-type question. Each of the contestants needs to select a random envelope containing the question.
Miss Philippines gets the chance to answer last. The question for her seems simple but is really a tough one. She answered it straightforwardly and with practicality.
