Mayweather Won against Pacquiao, But the Scorecards Allegedly Say Otherwise

At the end of the 12th round, Floyd Mayweather Jr. emerged as the winner during his match against Manny Pacquiao held on May 2 at MGM Grand in Las Vegas Nevada. It was announced that Floyd won via unanimous decision where the three judges gave scores: 116-112 (Glenn Feldman and Burt Clements), and 118 – 110 (Dave Moretti) favoring the undefeated champion.

While most of the spectators believed that Mayweather have won the fight (because he actually did), it seems that the scorecards is saying a different thing. Based on the scorecards, it seemed that Pacquiao should have won the match since he is occupying the red corner and Floyd is on the Blue corner. The judges have given higher total scores on the red corner than on the blue.

In the post-fight interview, Manny Pacquiao told Max Kellerman of HBO that although it was a good fight, he believed he won the fight. He explained that he (Mayweather) didn’t do anything, he always runs.

Anyway, congratulations to the two fighters for making the fight happen.

What a bunch of BS this fight was. Mayweather ran from Paciquao the whole fight and there is no way he won on points. You would have had to be blind or had your head so far up your _ss that you were watching your bowels move instead of watching this over hyped event. This was supposed to be the fight that made boxing history. What a joke. I have seen better fights in the school yard. The so called judges had to be a sleep from boredom and then woken up after Mayweather was jumping around the ring screaming that he won the fight. That was the most aggressiveness he showed during the entire fight. The final decision made by the judges proves exactly why boxing is in the shape it is today. It is organized scamming for material gain and nothing more. The sport of boxing is gone and will never be the same as long as organizers control the judges which was apparent for this event I will never watch another boxing event as long as I am alive.
