If you think Myphone Rio is a bit pricey, then you might want to consider its lighter version, which is the Rio Lite. Myphone has introduced on their social media site the arrival of Rio Lite, the little brother of their highly popular 5 inch quad-core phone Rio. Both phones are powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and Android 4.2 Jellybean; however, there is huge difference in specs between the two siblings.
Rio Lite sports a smaller display 4.7 inch, and lower specs camera at 5MP main and 2MP front facing. The RAM size was cut into half at 512MB compared to Rio’s 1GB.
Myphone Rio Lite Notable Specs
- 4.7 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display

- 1.3GHz Quad-core processor
- 512MB of RAM
- 4GB of ROM (expandable internal storage)
- 5MP rear camera
- 2MP front facing camera

In my opinion, Myphone Rio Lite is very affordable. However, if I have P3999 on hand, I would think twice getting this phone because its bigger brother (which has better specs) only cost P1K higher at P4999. I’d rather wait for few days to a month to figure out ways to produce that additional 1000 pesos so I can get Rio.
