The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) will hold a one-day countrywide examination tagged as PNP Entrance Exam this coming April 26, 2015. Here are the details for qualifications, online application scheduling process, and filing of the application period.
Philippine National Police has announced on its official Facebook page the entrance examination date for those who aspire to become a police officer (PO1). PNP entrance exam will be administered on April 26,2015 (Sunday) in various regional testing centers in the country.
This include testing centers that is located located in Makati City, Baguio City, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro City, Calamba City, Calapan City, Cebu City, Cotabato, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Pagadian, San Fernando City, San Fernando Pampanga, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao City.
The entrance exam is open to all Filipino citizens who have the right age, height, and educational attainments. It is also open to current Police Officers 1 (PO1) who has a temporary appointment due to lack of appropriate eligibility.

Male and Female civilians can apply for the exam provided that they are not more than 30 years old and was able to complete a Bachelor’s Degree.
Male applicants should have a height of 1.62 meters, and female applicants should have a height of 1.57 meters. Those who currently hold the PO1 (Temporary) position only needs to have a Bachelors Degree.
The PNP entrance exam will last for three hours and will be an objective-type/multiple choice type of exam.
It will cover different topics like General Information (Current events, Philippine Constitution and History, PNP Law and History, Criminal Justice System, Social Awareness and Value Judgement), Verbal Reasoning (Vocabulary, Comprehension, Grammar), Quantitative Reasoning (Basic concepts, Problem-solving skills), and Logical Reasoning (Verbal and Non-verbal).
The period for on-line application scheduling can be done by the applicants on February 16 – 20, 2015 online. Website will be up at 12NN of February 16 onwards.
The period of Filing of Application will be on March 2 to 27,2015.
