Recently I receive an email from omanfil regarding electrical related jobs in Qatar. Unfortunately I’m not into that field so it would be better to share it out.

Current Qatar job openings and the number of vacancies are as follow:
1. ELECTRICIANS ( 445 vacancies)
2. ELECTRICAL FOREMEN ( 50 vacancies)
3. ELECTRICAL SUPERVISORS (7 vacancies)

Interview will be on September 11 and 12, 2011 at 8AM. There is no placement fee and no salary deduction! Just be sure you are qualified for the position as only qualified applicants will be LINE-UP for interview.

QATAR KENTZ ENGINEERING AND CONTRACTORS (SIDRA PROJECTS) from QATAR will conduct EMPLOYER’S INTERVIEW on SEPTEMBER 11 AND 12, 2011,8AM for the following position:

1) ELECTRICAL SUPERVISORS (7 vacancies)
Job requirements:
• The Electrical Supervisor will be a very experienced person who has worked on previous Building Services contracts in the Middle East in a similar position.
• Must be a mature responsible person with a positive approach
• Must possess excellent people skills
• Excellent Communication ability with people of different nationalities
• Strong Leadership Qualities
• Excellent Technical knowledge in Building Services installation works
• Hands on Skilled Tradesman not afraid to get his hands dirty
• Ability to read and understand drawings and submittal process
• Ability to read and understand Electrical Specifications
• Ability to head a large team of Foremen, Technicians and Electricians approximately 60 people
• Proven record to meet targets and objectives set by his employer
• Honest , Loyal and dependable person
• Decision maker
• Computer Literate would be advantageous but not mandatory.
• Must be able to read and write English

2) ELECTRICAL FOREMEN ( 50 vacancies)
Job Requirements:
• Previous experience in a similar position on Building Services installations preferably in the Middle East.
• Completely familiar with Building Service installation works as previously described
• Timed Served Electrical Tradesman with trade papers
• Must be a strong diligent leader
• Hands on skilled tradesman leads by example
• Totally familiar with standard Electrical Hand Tools
• Must be a good communicator
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Honest , Loyal and dependable type
• Strives to meet targets and objectives as set out by his Supervisor
• Will be responsible for a group of 10 to 12 people.
• Good Time Keeper
• Must be able to speak English
• No Color Blindness

3) ELECTRICIANS ( 445 vacancies)
Job Requirements:
• Must be experienced in Building Services installation works preferably from a previous contract in the Middle East but not mandatory
• Timed Served Electrical Tradesman with trade papers
• Ability to use standard Electricians Tools
• Must be able to carry out neat and tidy work
• Must have experience using Building services materials as previously outlined
• Must be able to use a conduit Bending Machine , Stocks and Dies
• Must be able to install Support Brackets, Trunking and Tray
• Must understand how to wire Lights and Sockets
• Must be able to install SWA Cables and Terminations
• Must be able to install Electrical equipment such as Distribution Boards ,Switchgear, Junction Boxes, MCCs etc
• Honest and Loyal
• Good Time Keeper
• No Color Blindness
