The authentication request for your PRC board certificates such as board rating, board passing, ID, and certificate of registration is now on a per appointment basis.
You can get an appointment scheduled online on your LERIS account. Afterward, you have to show up at the PRC branch on your appointment date to process the authentication of your PRC certificates.
PRC has made this new process available to professionals starting march 22 2021. This feature is still available in 2022. As a result of this big improvement, PRC will stop accepting walk-in applicants who will request for certified true copy/authentication of their board certificates.
If you are a professional who needs to provide authenticated PRC certificates to manpower agencies bound for abroad or for local employment in the Philippines. Then you can follow these steps to get copies of your authenticated board rating, PRC registration, and identification card (PIC).
How to Get Authenticated PRC Board Certificates
Step 1: Log in to your PRC LERIS account and Proceed to Select Transaction Link
On the assigned space, input your login details such as your valid email and your preferred password. Tick the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA and hit the blue “Sign In” button.
Once you are logged in to your leris page, proceed to the pulsating “Select Transaction” link located at the upper right side of the page.
Step 2: Go to Certifications Tab
In the popup window, you will see the different services that PRC offers. The list includes but is not limited to “Examination,” “Renewal,” “Initial Registration,” and “Certifications.” Choose the latter and begin selecting the PRC board certificate that you want an authenticated copy of.
To give you an idea, here is the list of certificates for Authentication:
- Certificate of Registration
- Certificate of Board Rating
- Certificate of Good Standing
- Certification of Passing
- Professional Identification Card
Under certification, you can also request copies of your certificate of passing, Good Standing, and Certificate of PRC Exam Rating.
Step 3: Select your Profession, Application Number, and Quantity
In the “Profession” dropdown menu select the name of your profession. For example Nurse, Electronics Engineer, Physical Therapist, Teacher, and so on.
Under “Quantity” input the number of copies that you want to get. Then input your 7-digit PRC ID number. Double-check your details then hit the blue “Proceed” button.
Step 4: Select your Preferred Regional Branch and View your Appointment Schedule
After you select your preferred PRC regional branch to visit. PRC will show you a computer-generated appointment schedule (date and time). Compare your schedule to the given appointment schedule. If you can go to the branch on the given date then good.
Otherwise hit the sky blue “Reschedule” button to change your appointment schedule. To reschedule your appointment, hit the drop-down menu to see the alternative appointment schedules.
You are allowed to reschedule your appointment once only per transaction so be certain on your chosen schedule. Afterward, state your valid reason why you need to reschedule your appointment. Your explanation should be below 500 words. Hit the “Proceed” button.
Step 5: Pay the Required Processing Fee
The processing fee for authentication of your PRC board certificates is Php 75.00 per copy. There is no convenience fee if you choose to pay at the PRC cashier.
There is an additional convenience fee if you choose to pay via other collecting partners such as PayMaya, LandBank, or Bancnet. For example, if you choose to pay via PayMaya or Landbank, the convenience fee is PHP 8.00 and PHP 10.00 per transaction, respectively. Select which payment option that is convenient for you.
Step 6: Print your PRC Document relative to the Request
Login again to your LERIS account. This time go to the “Existing Transaction” tab located on the upper left side of the page.
If this is your first time, then you will immediately see the document that you need to print. Otherwise, scroll up or down until you see the appropriate document.
Step 7: Proceed to the PRC Regional Office on your Appointment Date
Aside from the document that you print in Step 6. You also need to bring the following documents:
- Properly filled out PRC Action Sheet (AS)
- Payment receipt
- Valid PRC ID
- 2 pcs Documentary Stamps per certificate (you can buy this at PRC customer service desk)
- Original and Photocopy of PRC board certificates for authentication / certified true copy
You should input on your Action Sheet for Authentication your date of filing, full name, profession, registration number, the validity of your PRC ID, and mobile number. Also, you have to tick the box which corresponds to the document that you want to be authenticated, the number of copies, and the purpose of the said document.
Take note of the paper size of your photocopy as it may vary depending on the requirements where you will submit it.
For example, if you will use it for local employment, then the paper size that you have to use is 8.5” x 13” long bond paper. For Middle East employment or DFA, the paper size that you need to use is A4.
Submit all the required documentation to the designated “Window” and receive your “Claim Slip.”
Step 8: Go Back to PRC Office to Claim the Certified True Copy of Certificates
The claim slip that you receive in Step 7 indicates the releasing date of your authenticated certificate. Proceed to the PRC satellite office in accordance with the releasing date to claim the certified true copy of your certificate. Arrive early at the branch to avoid long lines and to avoid the rush hour.
