Samsung Galaxy Ace and ace plus both considered a top contender on the mid-range smartphone category from Korean mobile manufacturer Samsung.
I grab the chance to hold and feel the actual galaxy ace unit in a store in SM last weekend. It has the same size with that of iPhone 3GS though a bit lighter. Base on technical specs Samsung galaxy ace is thinner by 0.8mm, but if placed side by side with 3GS I should say it is barely noticeable.

Samsung Galaxy Ace, powered by 800MHz Qualcomm processor and run by Android Froyo (out of the box). It features a TFT 3.5 inch (diagonal) capacitive touchscreen. 5MP rear camera with LED flash is also present on this phone. Ace is capable of WVGA and QVGA video recording at 30fps and 20fps respectively.
On the first quarter of 2012, Samsung launched Ace successor the galaxy ace plus. I think the only prominent features that the latter has over predecessor is its 1 GHz processor and slight bigger display at 3.65 inch.
I approached a crew to ask the price of the two mid-range smartphones, she told me that Samsung galaxy Ace GT-S5830 price is P11900 while Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500 price is P13790.
