Here are the list of areas where there is class suspension (walang pasok) for September 15,2014 due to typhoon Luis. The Department of Education has announced on its official Facebook page the list of areas where there is class suspension for Monday September 15,2014. This is due to the Typhoon Luis which is currently inside the Philippine area of responsibility.

Signal #1 – No Classes in Kindergarden
Signal #2 – No Classes in Kindergarten, Elementary, and High School
Signal #3 – No Classes in kindergarten, Elementary, High School, and College (including Graduate School)

Local Government Units (LGUs) have the authority to declare local suspensions in their areas of jurisdiction even if there is no storm signal.

According to PAGASA, as of 4pm of September 14,2014 (Sunday) Typhoon Luis’ center is at 115km East of Tuguegarao City. It sustained maximum winds of 130kph near the center with gustiness of up to 160kph.
