4 Steps to Register Your TNT SIM Card in 5 Minutes

You can register your TNT SIM via Smart Telecom’s website, in the Gigalife App, in Smart’s store, through the telco’s FB messenger account, and Smart’s Hotline number. The fastest and simplest way to register your TNT SIM is through the Gigalife App and/or on the website.

In this article, I will share with you how I register my SIM in the Gigalife App as well as on Smart’s official website in 5 minutes or less

How to Register TNT SIM on the Telco’s Website

Step 1: Go to the Official Website of Smart and go to the Register SIM link

At the homepage, scroll to the middle part of the website until you see the “Register SIM” link. Alternatively, if you didn’t see it, the links that you can visit are the simreg.smart.com.ph or https://smart.com.ph/simreg

Step 2: Enter your TNT SIM number in the given space

Scroll down to the middle part of the website until you see the “Start your Registration Here” form. In the given space enter your 10-digit TNT SIM number. I say 10-digit because the +63 is already there. Put a check on the box that says “I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and I acknowledge Smart’s Privacy Notice”. Then, hit the green “Send OTP” button.

Afterward, check your cellphone because the Smart Telco will send the OTP to it. Enter the OTP in the given space then hit the green “Verify OTP” button.

Note: The OTP is only valid for 2 minutes. If you did not enter the OTP within the given timeframe, you have to request again for another OTP.

Step 3: Input your Personal Information in the Form

Under “Type of Registration” use the dropdown to select your SIM registration type. The following are your choices:

  • I’m registering a new bought SIM
  • I’m registering my old SIM
  • I’m registering a newly bought SIM for a Minor
  • I’m registering an old SIM for a Minor

Use the respective dropdown menus to select your Nationality, the type of ID card that you will upload, your gender, and your date of birth. Then in the space provided, input your First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name. Tick the box that says “I have no legal middle name” if it is applicable to you.

Hit the green “Upload” button to upload a photo of your chosen valid ID. The maximum file size is 5MB and the file formats that you can upload are jpg, jpeg, gif, and png. Under “ID Card Number”, input the ID number that matches the details in the ID that you uploaded.

Then you will be asked to upload a selfie photo. Use your smartphone or a digital camera to take your selfie. Then transfer the file to your laptop or desktop so you can upload it on the website.

Afterward, hit the green “Next” button to proceed to the next page. In the space provided, input your home address and/or use the respective dropdown menu to fill out your address information.

The details that you have to encode include the following: your house/lot number, street, village/subdivision, unit/floor, building, province, city/municipality, barangay number, and zip code.

The mandatory pieces of information are marked with an asterisk. You will also be asked to include your alternate contact number (optional), and alternate email address (optional). When done, hit the blue “Next” button.

Double-check all the information on the “Summary” page. Afterward, put a check in the box that says “I hereby attest that I personally accomplished the registration and the information, and identification documents provided are true, accurate, and correct in compliance with RA 11934 or An Act Requirement the Registration of Subscriber Identity Module”.
Finally, hit the blue “Submit” button.

Step 4: Receive an SMS Registration Confirmation from TNT

Save a copy of your 18-digit control number. According to the notification it serves as your “Certificate of Registration”. You can do this by taking a screenshot of your desktop screen. Or you can use your smartphone to take a photo of your pc screen.

Congratulations, your TNT SIM is now registered via the Website.

How to Register TNT SIM using the Gigalife App

Step 1: Login to your Gigalife App Account

Open your Gigalife App then enter your 9-digit TNT SIM number in the given space then input your password. I said 9-digit because the 09 is already there. Afterward, hit the blue “login” button to log in.

Step 2: Go to the Register your SIM link

At the homepage of your Gigalife App, a message will flash on the screen requesting you to register your SIM number. Go to the link to begin the registration process.

On the next page, verify if the mobile number is correct. Put a check on the box that says “I have read and understood the Terms & Conditions and I acknowledge Smart’s Privacy Policy”. Hit the blue “Register” button.

Note: You do not need to type your TNT SIM number in the given space because the App already typed them for you.

Step 3: Input your Personal Information in the Online Form

Under “Type of Registration” the Gigalife App will auto-detect if you are registering an old SIM or a new one. Or you can use the dropdown menu to select your SIM registration type. The following are your choices:

  • I’m registering a new bought SIM
  • I’m registering my old SIM
  • I’m registering a newly bought SIM for a Minor
  • I’m registering an old SIM for a Minor

You can manually input your personal information (Customer Information) in the form or you can allow the Gigalife app to detect the information for you. This is based on the type of ID that you will upload.

(In my experience, the App automatically filled out the form for me based on the information printed on my ID card. What I did is double-check the details to know if they are correct.)

Hit the blue “Next” button if your personal information is correct. On the next page, fill up your “Address Information” This is your “Present or Other Official Home Address”. Input in the given space your house/lot number, street, village/subdivision, unit floor, building, province, city/municipality, barangay, and zip code.

You can also input your optional alternative contact number and optional email address. Afterward, hit the blue “Next” button.

View the summary of your information then put a check on the box that says “I hereby attest that I personally accomplished the registration and the information, and identification documents provided are true, accurate, and correct in compliance with RA 11934 or An Act Requirement the Registration of Subscriber Identity Module”. Hit the blue “Submit” button.

Step 4: Receive notification from Gigalife to Confirm your TNT SIM Number Registration

Save a copy of your 18-digit control number. According to the notification it serves as your “Certificate of Registration”. You can do this by taking a screenshot of your desktop screen. Or you can use your smartphone to take a photo of your pc screen.
