SKK Mobile has released the most affordable Quad-Core Android phone to date, the Lynx Edge Quad Core. The complete specifications and the price can be read below.
SKK Mobile Lynx Edge Quad Core features a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display. It will run the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system.
This entry-level smartphone from SKK will be powered by a quad-core CPU although no details yet regarding the clock speed. I’m guessing that the CPU will be 1GHz. The RAM is also not stated by SKK on their Facebook post. However, based on the price, probably it will only be 512MB.
Lynx Edge Quad-Core has a front and rear camera. The rear is a 2MP and the front is VGA. The initial storage is 4GB but you can expand it up to 64GB (maximum) since it has a microSD card slot.
This device can connect online with its built-in WiFi and 3G. The wifi feature is advantageous for those who have an internet connection at home. Users can connect online without consuming their postpaid and prepaid data plans.
You can also save money when you own this device because the latter has a dual sim feature. This just means you do not need to carry an additional device to stay connected with your friends and relatives that are using a different telco service provider.
