Sky Ranch Tagaytay, Entrance Fee, Attractions, Map

Go to Sky Ranch in Tagaytay if you want to experience something new aside from the usual theme park ambiance. This new attraction was introduced to me by my brother. He told me that there is this new theme park in Tagaytay. What really caught my attention is that it features the tallest Ferris wheel aka Sky Eye in the Philippines.

Tagaytay is one of the popular travel destinations for tourist, returning OFWs, and families who are looking for a weekend escape in the city life. It is a favourite because it offers cool climate and it is very near in Manila (less than 2 hours travel).

Aside from mentioned, it also offer breathtaking view of Taal Volcano – The world’s smallest volcano. Nowadays, tagaytay travel experience can be made more memorable by visiting Sky Ranch.

Sky Ranch is the newest theme park in Luzon. It opened its doors to clients on March 2013. It is very near Taal Vista lodge (maybe 10 minutes walk) and is just in front of Tagaytay City Hall Complex. There are different rides for kids and kids alike. Probably, the main attraction of this theme park is its Sky Eye – tallest Ferris wheel in the country.

Sky Eye is 63 meters tall. It has 32 air-conditioned gondolas that can occupy 4 persons each. It is a 10 minute ride and when you are at its peak, you will get 360 degrees scenic view of the whole Taal.

If you will travel by public transportation like bus. I suggest that you go to any JAM liner which has terminal in Cubao and Taft. Ride bus that will pass by Olivarez Plaza.

I suppose buses going to Nasugbu Batangas with via Tagaytay will do, but to be sure, ask the bus conductor.

Tell the conductor to drop you off at Olivarez Plaza. From there you can ride Jeep that will pass sky ranch. Hope this would help.

First of all, for those of you asking if you can bring your own food into the park, I suggest you visit their website and ask them there.
As for the park itself, it’s a typical amusement park however tickets for the rides and purchasing them is a bad system. They have two ticket booths for the whole park manned each by one attendant!!!??? You have to know which ride and how many persons will ride the rides BEFORE you get there. This makes for a miserable time!
I suggest a flat rate at the entrance which covers at least one iteration per ride for each entrance ticket OR a ticket booth per ride. If you want to stick to just the two ticket booths that you currently have, then you need to staff the booths with with more than just one person. I suggest four for each booth.
