The SSS online appointment system will allow you to set an appointment schedule with any sss branch so you can process your benefits claims. The online facility also allows you to select the time, date, and location of the sss servicing branch. It will help you avoid long queues because you will only appear at the branch according to your appointment schedule.
You can process a total of 12 SSS services. This includes but is not limited to member data change, maternity claims, disability claims, sickness benefits, and submission of documents for your ss number application.
For you to benefit from this service, make sure that you can access your sss account online. Aside from that, you also need to input a valid/working email to your account.
How to Schedule an Appointment in SSS Online
Step 1: Log in to your MySSS Account
You can go to the Social Security System website and proceed to the “Member” link located in the upper-middle part of the page. It will redirect you to the member login page.
Input your User ID and password in the given space. Tick the captcha box that says “I’m not a robot.” Afterward, hit “Submit.”
Step 2: Go to Appointment System under Member Info Tab
Hover your mouse to the “Member Info” tab. The page will then show you the drop-down menu. Go to the “Appointment System” to set your appointment schedule with SSS.
Step 3: Select your preferred Appointment Schedule
This is the part where you need to state the purpose of your appointment, the region based on your location, and the sss branch near you.
1. For the “Purpose,” you can choose the following services
- Member Data Change (E4)
- Disability Claim Application
- Retirement Claim Application
- EE Contribution Verification
- Submission of Required Documents for SS Number Application
- Issuance of Certification for Pensioner
- Issuance of Certification for Member/Non-member
- Death Claim Application
- Funeral Claim Application
- Medical Examination on Disability / Sickness Claim
- SE/VM Contribution Verification
2. For Region, the available choices are NCR, Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao
For example, you are from Bohol, then you have to choose “Visayas” in the drop-down menu. If you are from Cagayan De Oro, then your choice should be “Mindanao.”
3. Select your SSS Servicing Branch
The branch that will appear in the drop-down menu will depend on the region of your choice. If you select “Mindanao” as your region, then the SSS servicing branch drop-down menu will show you the branch and offices in Mindanao. Select your preferred SSS branch.
4. Select the Appointment Date
SSS will show you the available schedule for the succeeding 3 months. For example, if you are scheduling your online appointment in July 2022. The website will show you the available schedules for August, September, and October 2022. The dates in “Green” means it is still available, while the dates in “Red” are not available.
You can also hit the “Previous or Next” link above the calendars to see the available dates on other succeeding months. Then select your preferred date.
5. Select the Available Time Schedules
The schedule that you will see here is divided on per hour basis. It also depends on the office hours of the branch. You can select from 8 to 9, 9 to 10, 11 to 12, 1 to 2 pm, 3 to 4 pm, 4 to 5 pm, and so on.
After you select the time. On the given space, state your concerns related to the “Purpose” of your visit. For example, updating your beneficiary and dependents. Hit the “Submit” button afterward. SSS will send an email to your registered email address. This is to notify you that you have successfully set up an appointment with the government agency.
You have the option to print the appointment details, save them to a PDF file, or just keep it in your email.
Step 4: Come to the SSS Branch on your Scheduled Appointment Date
Come on time to the branch. Bring your SS ID card or two valid IDs. At least one of your IDs should have your photo for verification of your identity.
