The Philippines has numerous SSS branches abroad to provide assistance and compulsory coverage to overseas Filipino worker members globally.
Currently, there are 10 offices in the Middle East, 3 branches in Europe, 3 offices in North America, and 7 branches in ASEAN Countries, or a total of 23 SSS overseas offices. These offices are located either in the Philippine Embassy or Philippine overseas labor offices (POLO) in 18 countries.
According to the Social Security System (SSS), as of December 31, 2018, there is a total of 1.14 million OFWs that are in their records, 550,000 of which are active paying members. As of OFW, should you need to talk to an SSS staff, you can visit their respective offices overseas to raise your concerns.
