Taiwan is Direct Hiring Filipino Workers through SHPT – IDES

Aside from getting a job thru manpower agencies, the other option is via direct hiring. Taiwan is direct hiring Filipino skilled workers through International Direct E-Recruitment System (IDES). IDES is an online process under the Special Hiring Program for Taiwan (SHPT) wherein the Taiwanese employers are hiring or choosing directly to the registered applicants database of POEA.

IDES basically streamlines the hiring process and eliminates the participation of recruitment agencies in the Philippines and brokers in Taiwan.

How to Participate in SHPT – IDES for Taiwan

1. Register with POEA Manpower Registry

• Go to www.epoeaservices.poea.gov.ph and choose Taiwan as your chosen destination

2. Prepare the following documents

– Philippine Passport
– SSS UMID
– TESDA National Certificate if applying for housekeeping and caregiving positions
– NBI Clearance
– School Diploma
– Skills Training certificates
– Employment certificates

3. Submit the copy of your documents to POEA
