Tanya Diaz with her rendition of ‘What About Love’ during The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 became the first four-chair turner during the event’s pilot episode held on October 26,2014.
27-year-old Tanya Diaz blind audition performance during The Voice Ph season 2 audition makes the four coaches Sarah Geronimo, Lea Salonga, Bamboo Manalac, and Apl.de.Ap press their ‘I want you button’ just seconds after she sings the song. Bamboo Manalac is the first one who turns his chair followed by Sarah Geronimo of Team Sarah. Team Lea and Apl.de.Ap also press the ‘I want you bottom’ just few seconds after.

Bamboo Manalac asked Tanya the reason for joining the show, she revealed that she joined because of the influence from diseased eldest brother. It is her way to say “Rock N Roll” to her brother or “I’m gonna rock on for you brother.”
The four coaches wooed her to join their respective team. Apl.de.Ap. told that she should choose the latter because if not, he is like traffic on EDSA, he added that he can’t move on without her on his team. Sarah Geronimo of Team Sarah showed her props and knelt in front of Tanya Diaz so the latter would choose her. Sarah added that she will do anything if Tanya will join her team.
Tanya was heaving a hard time choose between the four respective coaches bu then she chose Bamboo Manalac of Team Bamboo to be her coach. This is because of the genre she is into.
Tanya Diaz is the first four-chair turner during The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 blind audtion because of her rendition of ‘What About Love’ by Heart. The second four-chair turner is Kokoi Baldo, a reggae performer in Boracay Island, and a native of Negros Occidental in Bacolod.
The Voice of the Philippines Season 2 coaches are Sarah Geronimo of Team Sarah, Apl.de.Ap of team Apl, Bamboo Manalac of Team Bamboo, and Lea Salonga of Team Lea. The hosts of the show are Alex Gonzaga, Toni Gonzaga, Robi Domingo, and Luis Manzano.
