The province of Laguna is considered to be one of the major economic hubs in the country. There is where the popular Laguna Technopark, and the LIIP or Laguna International Industrial Park are located in Binan.

If you went a little south in Canlubang, you will find there the Carmelray Industrial Park. Aside from the 3 mentioned, the province is home to 15 other industrial estates.

According to Laguna.gov.ph the province is dubbed as the Detroit, and the Silicon Valley of the Philippines because of so many automotive and Semiconductor manufacturers which are in operating in the region. These companies need highly skilled technicians to fill up their manpower needs.

Becoming a highly skilled technician is a big challenge, but there are training centers and schools in Laguna that offer courses accredited by tesda or popularly known as Technical Education Skills Development Authority.

As I said these are just some of the schools. To view the complete list with their respective courses offering, follow the steps below:

Step1. Go to Tesda.gov.ph/inc/tvi.aspx (copy or type the address on your browser address bar). You will be redirected to the page similar to the one below.

Step2. Choose the search by school option. Leave the search bar blank then hit search. You will again be redirected to another page similar to the one below.

Step3. On the Filter Region Tab choose IV-A which stands for Region IV-A or CALABARZON.

Step4. On the tab next to IV-A choose Laguna. There will appear the complete list of Tesda accredited schools in Laguna. Choose the school which are near your place. You can view the courses offered just after the address of the school.
