The Free Foreign Language Courses that you can study at TESDA in 2023 are Nihonggo, Spanish, Mandarin (Chinese), Arabic, and English.
According to the official website of TESDA, these language courses are offered FREE of Charge. If you will enroll in the respective Language Skills Institute.
Learning these different foreign languages has a huge advantage in the workplace and even during the hiring process.
Employers often prefer applicants who are bilingual and knowledgeable of a language other than their mother tongue. This is because companies often expand overseas and/or have international clients. Communicating in the latter’s preferred language is a big factor to win their trust which later on converted to sales and more awarded projects.
If you want to study foreign languages such as Nihonggo, Spanish, Mandarin (Chinese), Arabic, and English you can go to the Language Skills Institute of Tesda. They offer these courses for free however you have to meet certain criteria to qualify.

How to find the TESDA Language Training Centers near you
Using TESDA’s official website, you can specifically pinpoint the training centers that are offering the language that you want to study. Here are the steps to do it:
Step 1: Go to TESDA’s official website
Visit www.tesda.gov.ph, at the homepage scroll to the middle of the page until you see the “For Learners and Workers” link. Alternatively, scroll to the bottom, and on its right, under Verifications, go to the “Registered Courses” link. Both of the links will redirect you to the TVI with Registered Program page.
Step 2: Search for the Language course that you want to study
Under “Course” type the name of the language, then under “Location” type the name of your city. In my example, I search for the schools offering the “Japanese” language and I indicate that I am located in Makati. As a result, the TESDA website shows the list of schools offering “Nihongo” in the Makati area.
Step 3: Get the details of the school near you and enroll in them
Scan the list of schools then select the one near you. Afterward get its details such as the complete school’s name, address, and telephone numbers.
Inquire with them regarding the tuition fee, class schedule, and requirements. Afterward, proceed with the enrollment process.
