The leading online job site in the Philippines, Jobstreet.com.ph has released the top 10 highest paying jobs for fresh graduates for the first quarter of 2015. The jobs site also reveals the top specializations with the most jobs available for newly grads.
On March 2015, the leading online job site in the country has released their 2015 Jobs and Salary Report for newly grads. According to the report, fresh graduates can easily land a job in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) / call center industry.
However, when comes to salary, the IT / Computer fresh graduates receives the highest starting pay.
Jobstreet Philippines, revealed that the first five position in their top 10 fresh grads specializations getting the highest starting salary are all related to Information Technology (IT).
For 2015, the top 1 position receiving an average close to P24000 per month are related to IT / Computer – Hardware. The top 2 position is IT / Computer – Network Database Admin with average of P23,080 per month. Top 3 position is Technical and Helpdesk Support with P22,289 per month.
Top 4 spot is IT / Computer – Hardware with P21,371 average monthly salary. Top 5 position belongs to Finance – Corporate Merchant Banking with P21,345 per month pay. Top 6 Highest Paying jobs for fresh graduates goes to Law / Legal Services with monthly salary of P21,301.
Top 7 is Sales – Telesales / Telemarketing with monthly salary of P20,966. Top 8 is Health – Nurse / Medical Support Assistant with salary of P20,588 per month. Top 9 goes again to Sales but this time it is related to Engineering / Technical / IT with salary of P20, 265 per month. Occupying the 10th spot is Engineering Electronics with salary of P19,343 per month.
The most jobs available for fresh graduates are related to Business Process Outsourcing / Call center. Jobstreet told that out of the 40,000 job postings from January to March 2015 on Jobstreet.com.ph, almost 30 percent of it is related to customer service specialists.
The remaining available jobs for fresh graduates are IT / Computer – Hardware, Telesales and Telemarketing, clerical / administrative support, and Technical and Helpdesk.
Fresh graduates can also land a job easily in the following specializations: Human Resources, Banking / Financial Services, Finance – General / Cost Accounting, Marketing / Business Development, and Hotel Management / Tourism Services.
