Viber for blackberry is now available for download free. Good news to blackberry smartphone owners, the ever-popular app that is used by 40 Million plus iOS and android smartphone owners combine is now available to BlackBerry handsets.
Viber offers free calls (at HD sound quality), and free text messages and it also allows smartphone owners to send photos to anyone around the world assuming Viber is also installed in the smartphone of the receiver.
For Viber to work, it requires 3G or Wi-Fi internet connection, but perhaps it is a very minimal problem now a day especially since almost every mall and households are Wi-Fi enabled and almost every smartphone is 3G capable.
Unfortunately, this current Blackberry version available for download does not support free voice calls yet. But I guess there is nothing to worry about since Viber Media Incorporated is doing all the hard work to make the free voice calls feature become possible sooner. For now, let’s just be happy that it is now available for your BB handset.
