Couple of 3-years, Chris Tan and Karen Bordador backed out in I Do on November 3,2014. It was revealed by host / council Judy Ann Santos prior to starting the text voting event for the shows upcoming Final Ceremony on November 8 (Saturday).
Teary-eyed couple Chris Tan and Karen Bordador revealed that they are quitting the competition days prior to the Final Ceremony of the romantic reality show if the Philippines, I Do. They felt that they are not yet ready to marry each other at the moment.
According to Chris Tan, it is not yet their time to get married, “hindi pa ito yung oras namen.” He added that they can no longer continue with the competition.
Karen Bordador assured the two remaining power couples that they still feel that they are meant for each other. “So we still feel that we’re the one, so wag kayong ma sad,” she told.

Despite quitting the competition, Judy Ann Santos still commends the couple for their honesty.
