The Department of Tourism of the Philippines has released its latest ‘Its More Fun in the Philippines’ international TV commercial for 2014.
The four videos that have an air time of 30 seconds each features some premier tourist destinations in the country – Cebu, Davao, Manila, and Boracay Island.
List of It’s More Fun in the Philippines International TVCs
On July 9, 2014, DOT uploaded on youtube their fourth international TVC that focuses on the reasons why Cebu is one of the must-visit places in the Philippines.
The video depicted Cebu’s underwater tourist spots where divers can get the chance to swim alongside sardines. It also depicts Cebuano’s craftsmanship when comes to making high-quality guitars.
Manila – The capital of Fun TVC features the many things that the capital city can offer. Its historical landmarks, unparalleled sunset view, and popular shopping malls were all covered in the video.
Davao City TVC just shows why trill-seeker and nature lover would never run out of fun in Davao despite belonging to two different worlds. It also shows the beauty of Mt. Apo, the tallest mountain in the Philippines.
If the US has the city that never sleeps, the Philippines has Boracay – the Island that never sleeps. The place needs no introduction as it was very popular in different parts of the world because of its white-sand beaches, and nightlife.
Boracay also received numerous awards from different award-giving bodies related to travel and leisure. For foreigners and tourists, Boracay Island is located southeast of Manila. By plane, it is roughly 1 hour from NAIA.
I hope Palawan particularly the Puerto Princesa underground river, and the Banaue rice terraces will be included in the future TVC releases of the Department of Tourism. They should also never forgot about CamSur and the Mayon Volcano of Bicol. And I hope next time the TVCs will be longer than thirty seconds.
