PCWorkx mentored by a multi-awarded PBA Coach Tim Cone, has won over Allen Iverson’s Team Gawad Kalinga during the charity event held on November 5, 2014, at SM Mall of Asia Arena. This is because of the winning shot fired by Kiefer Ravena during the remaining seconds of the game.
The matchup was tied at 96 with only 12 seconds remaining in the game. Kiefer Ravena carried the ball from the backcourt and drive towards the basket. He was able to dodge the defense of Gawad Kalinga’s double team and scored a layup, leaving only 1.3 in the clock.
Allen Iverson team calls for a time-out to come up with a play, but the supposed shooter Anthony Pimble, unfortunately, missed the final shot. Kiefer Ravena’s team PCWorkx won over Gawad Kalingan by 2 points. The ending score is 98 – 96 in favor of PCWorkx.
