How to Wash Your Eyes with No More Tears Shampoo

My Lola (Grandmother) had red eye, thinking that it was something serious we sent her to the hospital so the EENT specialist can check it out.

When the doctor inspected her eye he found out that there are dust particles on the surface of her eye. Unfortunately, this is the reason for the redness/irritation of the surface.

The doctor recommended the no more tears shampoo to be used to clean/wash lola’s  (Grandmother) eye. The frequency of cleaning the eyes is three times a day.

This is applicable to all who encounter eye redness due to dust particles. I tried it myself just to make sure it really does not hurt to apply shampoo on the eye. Guess what, it doesn’t.

Steps to Clean Your Eyes with No More Tears Shampoo

1. Wet your hands and your eyelid

The process is very simple. But prior to doing so, you need to wash your hands to remove any existing dirt or bacteria on it.

2. Put a no more tears shampoo on your fingertip

The amount of shampoo should only be one drop. You do not need to put too much because it’s not necessary.

3. Then apply it to your eyelid

Close your eyes before applying the shampoo to your eyelid.

4. Allow the shampoo to lather

Since it’s a no more tears shampoo, you can allow it to lather. As I’ve mentioned earlier, it won’t hurt your eyes as compared to the normal shampoo.

5. Rinse with clean water

That is self-explanatory. Always remember to rinse your eyes with clean water every time you do this process.

6. Do it three times a day

This is the recommendation to us by the specialist.

Just a reminder, if you experience eye redness, you should consult first a specialist. The reason is to determine the actual cause of eye irritation. In our case, it is the dust particles, it may be different from yours. Anyway, I hope this helps!
