Recently I’ve seen the promo of Wi-tribe Philippines. What really caught my attention is the part where there is no lock-in period for those who will be subscribing before January 2, 2012.
Wi-tribe is been around in the Philippines for almost 2 years backed by San Miguel Corporation and QTel Group as one of their leading investors. In those two years’ time, there is not that much that wi-tribe did to create a buzz, or at least I haven’t heard any of my friends got interested in their offering until recently.

I tried the tri-speed 4G stick, it works well with consistent speeds in the Pasig and Taguig area. Even at the lowest speed download is decent. I’ve only encountered a problem with loading at 7-11, though, which is recent (just a week ago). The text message containing your card and PIN numbers seem to be delayed in coming (around an hour, or sometimes not at all). I don’t know if the problem is with 7-11, wi-tribe, or my cellular network (Globe), but I hope this resolves soon.

e Base on my experience recently, it is not a good service but a verybad experience. Last week i was able to installed a witribe connection without telling me that ot will be a 1 year contract and then i paid 600 php for a deposit. A representAtive from witribe call me and confirm my application. i told her to callback two days after for a trial connection.And then they call me last friday but i wasnt able to answer the phone. An agent told me that according to their representative I CANCELLED my application which is NOT TRUE. I tried to call themany times but no answer. I even sent them a message. THET ARE SO UNPROFESSIONAL.
Ive been sending you a lot of emails to follow up my refund. But it seems like you Staff of Witribe dont care. It’s not good in a business that you ignored your customers. You response so fast when it comes to payment, but your service is very incompetent. Give me back my money. That’s all I want.
there are certain places where signals are 4 bars. if you feel that your address barely receives the signals or out of the coverage area, then don’t try this.
